Touchstone Preschools Hold Sock Drive for Children in Need

Students collected new socks, undergarments and hygiene items for Northwest Children's Outreach

Students at Touchstone Preschools in Beaverton, Hillsboro and Tigard recently hosted a sock drive and donated more than 500 items to Northwest Children’s Outreach. Throughout the summer, students and their families collected new socks, as well as undergarments, hygiene items and more for school-aged children. At the close of the drive, students helped load the donations into vehicles for delivery to the organization. Students participated in crazy sock days at their schools, during which they wore crazy socks to celebrate their efforts and discussed the importance of helping other children in need.

Northwest Children's Outreach is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families in the Portland area and surrounding communities. The organization helps to fill the needs of these families, providing clothing, infant care products, diapers, formula and many of the other necessities parents need for their children.
