Transit Alert: There is a Good Chance Your Commute Will Not Be Fun
Trivet has a warning about the next two weeks: "Trains will come less frequently and space on board will be severely limited."

TriMet wants you to know that this is not going to be fun.
So much so that in April they told people who normally buy monthly passes that they might want to make other plans.
"A significant MAX improvement project will disrupt MAX service for two weeks in May," they said in a statement. "Trains will come less frequently and space on board will be severely limited."

"During the two-week project, consider altering trips to avoid main commuting hours. If possible, work from home," TriMet said.
"Go by TriMet bus or the Portland Streetcar. Bike the entire way. Carpool. Or use other transportation options for the two weeks."
