Two Earthquakes Rattle South Oregon

The first temblor hit Monday evening and the second quake struck early Tuesday morning.

LAKEVIEW, OREGON: A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck Nevada near the Oregon border early Tuesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported around 12:27 a.m. A 2.5-magnitutde earthquake hit the same area on Monday evening just before 7 p.m.

The quake was located about 43 miles from Lakeview, Oregon and 122 miles from Susanville, California. No injuries were reported as a result of the quakes.
