Two women were shot Wednesday night in Northeast Portland.Portland responded arrived in the 1400 block of Northeast 118th Avenue after someone called 911 saying a woman was screaming that she had been shot.Police found her near one of the apartments, applied a tourniquet and she was taken to a hospital.As the investigation was underway, a second woman showed up at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, brought by private car.She, too, had been shot.Police believe the incidents are related but a motive, at this point, is unknown.Both women had serious but not life-threatening injuries.
