University of Portland Fires Coach Reveno

After ten years, Coach Eric Reveno is done with the Portland Pilots.

The University of Portland announced he will not be returning next year.

"I would like to thank Coach Reveno for his service, dedication and contributions to the University over the past ten years," Athletic Director Scott Leykam said. "He has represented the University and the Athletic Department with great class on and off the court."

Reveno, who was coach of the year in 2009, led the Pilots to four Collegeinsider.com Postseason Tournaments.

Reveno, who finished with a 140-178 overall record, was on Twitter, appearing to take the whole thing in stride.
