Video Shows Animals Getting an Early Start on Halloween

Halloween's not until next week. Don't tell these adorable animals.

Halloween may not be until next week, but that didn't stop keepers at the Oregon Zoo from letting the animals in their care from getting an early start.

The keepers who look after the black bears, river otters and giraffes set out pumpkins for their charges on Tuesday.

The zoo's annual Howloween takes place this weekend, allowing trick-or-treating kids to come by and fill their bags with goodies and learn about wildlife. There will be scavenger hunts and other activities. The event runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
