PORTLAND, OR — Portland police on Thursday released more information regarding the fatal crash on North Columbia Boulevard that killed two people Wednesday night.

Around 10:45 p.m. June 28, Portland resident Amanda Nicole Erickson, 29, was driving her silver 2001 Mercedes 500 west on North Columbia Boulevard, near North Swift Court, when she collided with a 2001 BMW 330 driven by 19-year-old Lyabov Prokhorova, also of Portland. According to police, Erickson may have been impaired by alcohol at the time of the crash. Prokhorova, police said, was driving with a suspended license. Both the Mercedes and BMW were towed as evidence, police said.

No citations or arrests have been issued or made at this time, police said, but the case will be forwarded to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office at the conclusion of the investigation.
