Weekend Crash Kills Motorcyclist on SE 82nd

Motorcycle crashed into a SUV. The driver of the SUV showed no signs of impairment.

A man was killed over the weekend when his motorcycle crashed into a SUV.

Police say the SUV was driving northbound on Southeast 82nd Avenue and making a left turn into the parking lot of Don Pedro Mexican Restaurant.

The motorcycle, a 2013 Harley Davidson, was heading southbound and crashed into the rear passenger side of the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Medical personnel tried to help the motorcyclist who was unresponsive.

They were too late and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has been tentatively identified as 45-year-old man.

Police say that the driver of the SUV did not show any signs of impairment.

The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office will review the case and decide whether to bring charges.
