Fireball Lights Up West Coast Skies (VIDEO)

More than 100 people saw it. Did you?

One thing is for certain - something lit up the skies over Oregon on Friday night. Whatever it was was seen as far east as The Dalles, as far south as Grants Pass and as far north as Port Angeles, Washington.

By Saturday morning, the American Meteor Society had received more than 130 reports from people claiming to have seen it.

Most of the reports came from Portland, the Oregon Coast and the Willamette Valley. Most sightings seems to have been made around midnight.
