Woman Arrested After Fleeing Gresham Crash

Police say she also tried to steal the cars of two people who had stopped to help her.

A woman was arrested by Gresham Police after fleeing a crash early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Burnside and Powell.

The woman who fled, Heidi Kirillova of Portland, was driving one of the cars in the crash.

Police say that she also tried to steal two cars belonging to people who had stopped to help. After she failed to steal a car, police say, she fled on foot and was arrested soon after.

The person in the car she hit, Kevin Maden, was taken the hospital where he was treated and released.

Kirillova is charged with DUII, reckless driving, robbery, and assault, among other charges.
