Young Girl Hides as Father is Beaten and His Store is Robbed

Two men entered the Milwaukie Market on Sunday afternoon, beat an employee in the face with a gun, and robbed the store. The employee's five-year-old daughter was in the store at the time. She hid and was uninjured.

Her dad was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay,

Police say the robbery happened around 2:30 at the market at 4401 Southeast Milwaukie Avenue.

Officers searched the neighborhood for the suspects but did not locate anyone matching their descriptions.

The suspects are described as African American males in their late-teens, 5'7" tall, medium build wearing black hats and shirts. The suspect with the gun was wearing silver or gray pants, the other was wearing blue pants.
