• Bynum, Merkley, and Wyden Announce $100,000 for Central Oregon Wildfire Recovery (house.gov) — Warm Springs families displaced by July’s wildfires are set to receive part of a new $100,000 federal disaster grant, routed through NeighborImpact for emergency shelter, relocation help, and essential supplies. The funding, championed by Oregon’s congressional delegation, specifically targets Central Oregon communities including the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, where thousands evacuated and several homes were lost. 
• FBI investigating after 13-year-old Warm Springs boy missing since March found dead (kptv.com) — Authorities in Warm Springs have confirmed that remains found near Indian Health Services on Kotnum Road are those of 13-year-old Tyler Kalama, who had been missing since March. The FBI and Warm Springs Police are actively investigating his disappearance and death, asking anyone with even seemingly minor information to come forward as they work to establish what happened.
