Boones Ferry Park Community Meeting Set For Sept. 5
At the meeting, city officials want to hear what the community has in mind for the future use of Boones Ferry Park and the surrounding area.

WILSONVILLE, OR — To help inform the Boones Ferry Park Master Plan city officials will host a community forum next month, giving residents an opportunity to provide feedback and input on the future a Boones Ferry Park.
The event will be held at Boones Ferry Park Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 6 p.m. The seven-acre park, located at 31240 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, is looking at a facelift and city officials want the community to have its say in what those changes could be.
Currently, city officials said, the park's amenities include a playground, open-lawn area, and basketball court, as well as the Tauchman House, a 100-year-old structure that previously housed Willamette River ferry operator Capt. Emil Tauchman. The house is now used as an event center for city-sponsored programs and private rentals.
