A chlorine spill forced the evacuation of a hotel in Wilsonville Tuesday morning. The matter was quickly resolved.
It happened around 8:30 Tuesday. Fire crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responded to the Wilsonville Inn and Suites on Boones Ferry Road.
People from the hotel had been evacuated to a Wilsonville SMART bus, which provided warmth while the situation was resolved.

Three people were treated for discomfort and one adult woman was taken to Meridian Park Hospital as a precaution.
HazMat technicians determined that a gallon of bleach, which contained chlorine, had been dispensed at a high concentration by an automated machine into a load of towels.

People were allowed back into the hotel by 11:00.
