Deputies Probe Fatal Crash South of WIlsonville

Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Office are probing a fatal crash that happened just south of Wilsonville.

It happened late Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Ehlen Road Northeast and Butteville Road Northeast.

The sheriff's office says that the preliminary investigation indicates a car failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a truck pulling a horse trailer.

The passenger in the car died at the scene while the driver was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Portland.

The two people in the truck were taken to a local hospital and expected to be okay.

The horses were treated by a local veterinarian.
