November Ballot Getting Crowded for Wilsonville Voters

The Wilsonville City Council is making sure that residents have plenty to think about this November.

At the last council meeting, they voted to put two measures on the ballot for residents to consider.

The first is a bond measure that would raise no more than $35 million to finance the design and construction of a recreation and aquatic center.

If approved, the result would be an 80,o00-square foot facility with community event space, aquatic, athletic, fitness, and recreational facilities.

Yes votes mean fund the facility. No means, well, no.

The second measure is related to marijuana.

The council wants voters to consider extending the city's ban on marijuana facilities within Wilsonville.

Yes means extend the ban. No means end the ban.
