Parks And Recreation Survey Available Through Friday, City Officials Say

The survey gives residents a chance to share their hopes and dreams for the city's parks and public spaces, officials said.

WILSONVILLE, OR — Residents have until Friday to provide feedback and input to help shape the Wilsonville Parks & Recreation Master Plan, city officials said Monday, offering local insight into the types of parks and public spaces the community wants most in the city.

Available since early June, the Parks & Recreation Master Plan survey is an opportunity for the community to share its wants and needs for future investments into Wilsonville's parks and recreational programs. Parks & Rec staff will give a presentation on the survey results Aug. 2.

Offering options for types of parks, facilities, and programs in which the city could invest, the survey asks residents to share their preferences to help guide city staff by comparing current options with what else has been done at other cities similar to Wilsonville. The Parks & Rec Dept. in May also sent physical questionnaires out to 3,500 random households, officials said. Those questionnaires will need to be turned in by the end of the month in order to be included in the surveyed results.
