State Police Investigate Robbery at I5 Rest Stop South of Wilsonville

An armed robbery at French Prairie Rest Area on I-5 south of Wilsonville had several law enforcement agencies - including officers from the Wilsonville Police Department and the K9 Unit from the Oregon City Police Department searching for the suspect.

But to no avail.

It happened around 7:30 Wednesday morning.

A man reported being robbed at gunpoint while he was in his car.

The victim said the man who robbed him was approximately six feet tall and wearing a dark blue hoodie with a baseball cap and sunglasses.

After robbing him, the thief ran into the nearby woods.
