TVF&R: Small Explosion Reported at Industrial Business in Wilsonville
The small explosion sent a piece of pipe flying off the facility's roof, officials said. No injuries were reported.

WILSONVILLE, OR – Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews on Monday responded to a small explosion in the city's Northwest industrial area, officials said.
Around 4 p.m. May 1, employees at a die casting and metal injection molding business in the 10000-block of Southwest Commerce Circle in Wilsonville reported an explosion had occurred inside a hydrogen operated furnace, officials said. When TVF&R crews arrived to the facility, they found the explosion had blown a piece of ventilation pipe off the roof and sent it toward a neighboring business. Neither the explosion nor the pipe caused any damage to the business.
No injuries were reported and the fire was contained within furnace, though crews did need to ventilate smoke from the facility.
