Wilsonville City Hall Suffers Phone And Email Outage
Service was restored around 2 p.m;.
Wilsonville is once again ready to take your calls an answer your emails. The city lost both services for several hours on Wednesday.
“We lost one of the core switches in the network early this morning," Information Systems Manager Andy Stone said. "The secondary switch did its job and saved our data but some ghosts hidden in the code caused a few other systems to have some problems. At this point everything is working and we are waiting for the new switch to arrive tomorrow.
"The installation of the new switch will create some downtime but we will work to minimize that as much as possible!”
City spokesman said everything was back up and running around 2 p.m..
