Wilsonville Residents: What Do You Want In A Park?
City officials seek feedback from the community to help inform its developing Parks & Recreation Master Plan. Online survey available June 8

WILSONVILLE, OR — What do Wilsonville residents want to see the city do to improve its recreational programs, services, and parks?
On Thursday, June 8, city officials will launch an online survey for residents to help inform its developing Parks & Recreation Master Plan. As a follow-up to a controlled questionnaire sent in May to a random sample of 3,500 Wilsonville households, the online survey will seek input from all city residents — who have until June 30 to participate.
According to city spokesman Jon Gail, "The results of the survey are used to provide critical information in determining community values, satisfaction levels, needs and priorities for the city's long-term planning efforts to be included in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan."

Gail further explained that the 12-month Master Plan planning process will include making comparisons between the city's current parks and recreational facilities, as well as the city's available programs and services, and what the community would like to see in the future. All community feedback will be considered by the Wilsonville City Council in 2018.
"The Parks & Recreation Master Plan seeks to reflect the community's wishes and desires for the types of parks and recreational programs we want in Wilsonville, as well as to provide a road map of how to get there," Parks and Recreation Director Mike McCarty said in a statement.
