Wilsonville Says If You Love the City Join the Tourism Committee

Applications are being accepted through September 16th.

The City of Wilsonville is looking for someone who loves the city enough to serve as a volunteer on its Tourism Promotion Committee.

Applications are being accepted for position seven through September 16th at 4:00 p.m.. The person will serve through June 30th, 2018 and then be eligible for reappointment to a full three-year term.

The city is looking for applicants from the city's hospitality and tourism industries - particularly Agri-Tourism, Arts & Culture, Community Events, Equestrian Tourism, Event Facility, General Retail, Lodging, Organized Sporting Events, Outdoor Recreation, Restaurants and Tourism Attractions.

Prospective members of the committee do not need to be residents of Wilsonville. Committee members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council.

Recently, the committee set tentative Fall 2016 meeting dates for Sept. 27, Oct. 27, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8, to be held at Wilsonville City Hall.
