Wilsonville Town Center Plan Design Workshop June 26
The design workshop will give residents a chance to provide additional feedback and input to steer the future of the Town Center Loop area.

WILSONVILLE, OR — The Wilsonville Town Center Plan has been gradually taking shape since February, and next Monday the community has an opportunity to help further steer the plan into the future.
Affecting roughly 100 acres from north of Wilsonville Road to around the Town Center Loop area, the Wilsonville Town Center Plan is a strategic guide for the city — developed with help from the community — that will provide a clear path to follow when city officials begin developing the Town Center Loop. The plan will layout for the city what kinds of businesses to recruit, and what programs, projects, and partnerships could help make the Town Center Loop area an "attractive and accessible place for visitors and residents of all ages to shop, eat, live, work, learn and play," according to city officials.
To give the community a forum for expressing their input and feedback on the plan, the city will host a Design Workshop on Monday, June 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Clackamas Community College Wilsonville Campus, located at 29353 S.W. Town Center Loop East.

Built up for years without a strategic guide, the city's Town Center area is currently comprised of several city offices and buildings, including the library, the community/senior center, a handful of parks, the post office, and the Clackamas Community College campus.
At the workshop, attendees will be shown — and asked to vote on — a variety of town center designs from other cities. Additionally, break-out sessions will give community members a chance to share with more detail what they'd like to see the town center look like and how they'd like to see it used.

Summer events and another online survey will also help shape the plan through July and August, officials said.
The June 26 Design Workshop will be conducted in both English and Spanish, and parents are encouraged to bring their children as the event will have activities for all ages. Food and refreshments will also be provided.
Anyone who needs special accommodations is asked to contact city Planning Assistant Tami Bergeron at 503-570-1571 at least 48 hours before the meeting.
