Wilsonville Wants Your Input on Public Transit

If you live in Wilsonville, your city leaders would like to hear what you think about the city's public transit system, South Metro Area Regional Transit or SMART.

As part of SMART's effort to help update the city's transit master plan by the end of the year, they have created an online survey at www.plansmartwilsonville.com so that whether you live in the area, work in the area, employ people in the area, or just visit the area, you can have a say.

The answers to the survey will help guide how the city spends transit dollars over the next five years.

Officials want to know what people think about how Wilsonville balances intercity and local service, does the city need more bus service for trips out of town or more trips within the city? Both?

In the fall, officials - using the survey results - will present a draft plan to the city council.
