12 Roads Still Closed From Storms In Abington

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Due to the storms the past two evenings, Abington Township Police said that several roads impeded by downed trees and wires remain closed.

Police said that most of the closures have been cleared by Public Works.

  • Meetinghouse Road is closed between Township Line Road and Jenkintown Road.
  • Rosemore and Sylvania Avenues
  • 2600 block of Burleigh Avenue
  • 1100 block of Tyson Avenue
  • 1900 block of Glen Road
  • 200 block of Cliveden Road
  • Pleasant Avenue between Fern and Abington Avenue
  • Lindsay Lane and Gilbert Road
  • 1200 block of Edgehill Road
  • 600 block of Edgehill Road
  • 2400 block of Lafayette Avenue
  • 1500 block of Rothley Avenue
