12 Years Later, Justice Still Sought In Cheltenham Teen's Death
Rewards up to $4,000 have been posted to get justice for 17-year-old Tanicha Workman.
CHELTENHAM, PA — It was more than 12 years ago that 17-year-old Tanicha Workman was on her way home with her little brother when she was struck and killed by a vehicle in Cheltenham.
The suspect was never caught. But loved ones and the authorities aren't giving up.
Up to $4,000 in reward money remains available for information leading to an arrest in the case, with $2,500 provided by AAA-Mid Atlantic and the Citizens Crime Commission of Philadelphia.

The incident occurred back on April 7, 2010.
Workman had just gotten off work when her brother asked her to take her to the mall to buy a video game, 6ABC reports.

The pair were on their way back home at around 10 p.m. when they were crossing Cheltenham Avenue near 5th Street.
A work van with no side windows and a ladder on top, later described by police as a white, silver, or gray Chevrolet or GMC, struck Workman and fled the scene.
Workman saved her brother in the process of being struck, according to multiple media reports.
The suspect is believed to be a middle-aged man, either white or Hispanic, authorities said.
