2-Alarm Fire Battled At Elkins Park Home Thursday

ELKINS PARK, PA — Firefighters battled a powerful two-alarm blaze at a home in Elkins Park on Thursday.

The incident began at around 11:30 a.m. on the 800 block of Rock Lane.

Crews were on the scene for several hours containing the fire.

Video footage from the scene showed smoke billowing from the top of the home, and firefighters working on the roof.

It's not yet clear what started the fire or if there were any injuries.
