2 Juveniles Arrested, 4 Stolen Cars Recovered In Abington

The Abington Township Police Department arrested two juveniles in connection with vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Two juveniles have been charged after Abington Police investigated a series of vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles over two months last year.

Police were also able to recover four stolen vehicles.

The Abington Township Police Department said the incidents occurred between Nov. 9 and Dec. 31 in 2025, primarily during the overnight hours.

Police said that several township neighborhoods experienced the crimes, including Huntingdon Valley, Elkins Park, and Roslyn. The vehicles were parked at residents’ homes when the thefts took place.

Abington Police were able to solve multiple cases within the township and other similar cases in Montgomery County, receiving assistance from partner police departments in those areas.

Residents are advised to take preventive measures to protect their vehicles and belongings.

These recommendations include consistently locking vehicles and removing all valuables, keys, and key fobs from inside cars.

Police also suggest using exterior lighting or security cameras when available to deter potential thieves. Residents are also encouraged to promptly report any suspicious activity, as this helps police respond quickly and contributes to neighborhood safety.
