3 Women Shot In Cheltenham Twp. Parking Lot

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Police are investigating the shooting of three women in the parking lot of a township shopping center on Saturday.

The Cheltenham Township and Philadelphia police departments said the women were found with wounds in the parking lot of the Moore Shopping Center at Cheltenham Avenue and Old York Road just before 1 a.m. on Saturday.

The three women were taken to Jefferson Einstein Hospital and are listed in stable condition, police said.

Police said a 19-year-old woman suffered from gunshot wounds to her face and right arm.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old woman suffered injuries to her right arm and upper right chest while a 21-year-old woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds to both legs.

Police are investigating whether the shooting took place in the parking lot or somewhere else.
