5 More Sex Charges Filed Against Ex-Abington Police Officer
Jordan Jones of Horsham is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old high school student while he served as a school resource officer.

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —A former Abington Township police officer has been arraigned on five additional counts of felony sex charges involving a 17-year-old high school student, authorities said.
Jordan David Jones, 30, of Horsham Township, was arraigned Monday in Montgomery County court on five additional counts of criminal attempted sexual intercourse with the student while working as a school resource officer at Abington High School.
Patch had obtained a copy of the new criminal complaint against Jones.

School officials had reported the assault to Abington Township Police in February after the student disclosed to a school counselor that she had been having a sexual relationship with Jones since last November.
The girl disclosed that she and Jones had met numerous times and engaged in sexual activity at his home in Horsham.

Jones resigned from the police force two days after the charges. He had served as a school resource officer since February 2021.
He is free on unsecured bail and awaiting trial in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas on the earlier felony charges of institutional sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children, and corruption of minors. He is free on unsecured bail.
