5 Roads Still Closed From Storm Damage In Abington Twp.
Abington Township Police said that the road closures have been reduced from a dozen after thunderstorms downed trees and wires this week.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Abington Township Police Department said that the number of roads closed from storm damage this week has been reduced to a handful.
Abington Police said that at 6 a.m. Friday, the following roads are still closed:
- 2200 block of Fairhill
- 100 block of Woodlyn
- 200 block of Cliveden
- 1400 block of Lindsey Lane
- Pleasant Ave between Fern and Abington Ave
"We would like to take this time to thank our Public Works department for the tremendous work these last few days working to get our roadways cleared from debris, and trees and working with PECO to get things cleaned up as safely and quickly as possible," police said.
