Wires Down; 54 Customers Left Without Power in Abington

ABINGTON, PA -- Scattered power outages were reported around the Abington area on Monday morning and into the afternoon as high winds and rain hit the region. No severe power outages had been reported as of the late afternoon, although in nearby Chester County, Caln Township suffered more than 1,800 outages.

Outages affected 54 people within Abington, and more in the immediate area. Near Abington, power was out in the following areas, according to PECO:

Pocasset Road, 5 affected, no restoration date provided by PECO

Kismet Road, 5 affected, restoration by Tuesday at 3 p.m.
