8 Teens Charged With Rioting, More After Fight At Montco School

Police said the fight broke out at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Abington Senior High School and ended with eight students being charged.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Eight students at Abington Senior High School have been charged following a large fight at the school Thursday.

Abington Police said the fight broke out at about 11:29 a.m. in the school.

An Abington Police School Resource Officer, school personnel, and the school’s security team broke up the scrape.

After the fight, police arrested and charges eight teens with riot and simple assault.

Police are investigating the incident and said more charges may be filed against other students.

No one was seriously hurt in the incident, police said.
