Abington, PA -- The 4th of July is finally here. Will rain disrupt the Abington area's fireworks and parade plans?
It's possible. Showers are set to arrive in the afternoon and there is a 50 percent likelihood that they continue into the evening, according to Weather.com.
The high will be 84 and the low will be 64.

Abington High School will host their America the Beautiful celebration and fireworks on July 4 at 9 p.m.
The celebration is organized in cooperation with Glenside.

Abington High School is located on 900 Highland Avenue.
Nearby, Ambler's fireworks celebration will take place on July 4 at dusk at Wissahickon High School.
And at dusk on 4th of July, Skippack will shoot off fireworks at Palmer Park on 4048 Creamery Road.
