Abington Area Pup of the Week: Max, 'Our Miracle'

This week's good boy of the week for the Abington area is Max, who is very loving to his young family member with autism.

ABINGTON, PA -- Lots of pet parents emailed to tell us what made their puppy the ultimate Good Boy or Good Girl. Although every dog is a great dog, here's this week's pup of the week: Max.

Here's what Max's family has to say about him:

We adopted Max one and a half years ago from Home at Last dog rescue. He has been the best thing to ever happen to our family. He gives us his unconditional love and we give him ours. My son is in the autism spectrum and Max is like our miracle. He knows how to calm our son when needed. He is just amazing.

Do you have a pup that deserves the spotlight? Let us know. Send us a paragraph or two about why your pup is so special, a picture or two, and their hometown.

Email all submissions to justin.heinze@patch.com. Have a full-grown, non-puppy pet you want to show off? Send them over too! Although let's be honest: plenty of dogs that are physically far beyond their puppy years can still transform, in the blink of an eye, into that wild, destructive hound of their golden youth.

Once you've submitted, just keep an eye out on Patch for your pup! Pups are usually published on Saturday afternoons.
