Abington Armed Robber, Dressed In Medical Scrubs, Demands Narcotics: Police
An armed robber entered an Abington pharmacy on Tuesday and handed employees a note reading: "Give narcotics, you won't get hurt."

ABINGTON, PA — A man dressed in medical scrubs entered a pharmacy in Abington on Tuesday afternoon and demanded narcotics at gunpoint, police said in a statement.
The incident occurred at about 1:08 p.m. at the Wellness First Pharmacy in Elkins Park, police said.
The suspect was wearing blue scrub pants, a blue surgical mask and a stethoscope around his neck. He held a silver long-barreled revolver at two employees and handed them a note which read, "Give narcotics, you won't get hurt," according to authorities.

A second suspect entered the store minutes later carrying a red suitcase, into which the pair loaded a large amount of prescription narcotics, police said.
The two then fled the scene in a silver Toyota Sienna.

Authorities reported that they located the Sienna shortly after the robbery.
No injuries occurred during the robbery, according to police.
