The Abington Educational Foundation Is Bringing Back The ‘60s
A "Decades Party" fundraiser will help raise funds for programs that enrich the Abington educational experience.
ABINGTON, PA -- The Abington Educational Foundation (AEF) is hosting a Decades Party fundraiser on Friday, November 11 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.at the North Hills Country Club on 99 Station Avenue in North Hills.
Proceeds from the event continue AEF’s mission, which is to raise funds to support Abington School District initiatives, promoting projects and activities that enrich, enhance and expand the curriculum, arts and cultural programs students in the school district, a press release states.
According to Phyllis Jablonowski, the Foundation Chair, the Decades Party also serves as something of a coming out party for the AEF, which was established in 1992 but to date has had a fairly low profile with regard to awareness in the community.

“We have done some wonderful things in the nearly 25 years we have existed, but we have been largely under the radar,” Jablonowski said.
