Abington HS's 'Woody' To Be Honored For 50th Anniversary
John "Woody" McGoldrick has been Abington High School's biggest fan for 50 years. He'll be honored during a basketball game next week.
ABINGTON, PA — For decades, the man known as"Woody" has been Abington High School's biggest fan.
Woody is in fact a custodian named John McGoldrick. And he's been cheering on Abington now for 50 years.
To celebrate the anniversary, the school will honor him during halftime of the varsity boys basketball game next Thursday, Jan. 17.
