Abington Junior HS Chorus Performs National Anthem At Phillies Game
Abington Junior HS students took center stage before the Phillies game Monday at Citizens Bank Park.

ABINGTON, PA -- The Abington Junior High School Chorus took center stage on Monday night, as they performed the National Anthem just before the Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park.
The chorus, directed by Mindy Walker, included 92 students from the school. All chorus students in grades 7 through 9 were invited to share in the unique opportunity, the district said.
The Abington Junior High School chorus auditioned in 2006 to perform at the inaugural season at Citizens Bank Park. They performed for several years in a row, and were selected for the honor again this year, the school said.

During their performance, the students were displayed on the giant Phantavision screen in left field:

Monday was also Dollar Dog Night, and the students were performing before a sell-out crowd. The Phillies would go on to lose, 4-3. They'll face the Mets in the series finale tonight.
