Abington Police Hosting Community Event Sunday In Glenside
Breaking Bread Abington aims to bring police and community members together for food, games, crafts, activities, and more.
GLENSIDE, PA — Abington Township residents and community members are invited to an event hosted by Abington Police this weekend.
Police are hosting "Breaking Bread Abington" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the North Penn VFW.
"Breaking Bread is a fun and free family friendly event open to all, designed to bring Abington Police Officers and Black and Brown community members together in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for good times and a great meal," police said.

The event has no agenda, politics, or preconceptions.
"Let’s eat and get to know one another meaningfully and personally for the betterment of the community," police said.
