
Felony obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery … Diane Piar, 50, of the 1700 block of Fuller Street, Philadelphia, was arrested April 26 at 5:36 p.m. in Alliance Pharmacy in the Highland Building of after she attempted to pass a fraudulent prescription for 180 oxycodone pills, police said. The prescription was confirmed to be fraudulent by the doctor whose name was on the script. According to police, Piar had an unmarked prescription pill bottle in her possession and eight suspected oxycodone pills. Piar admitted to forging the prescription by making a photocopy of it.
Retail theft … Rasheed Roache, 31, of the 3400 block of North 20th Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 2 at 9 p.m. in Bloomingdale’s in Willow Grove Park Mall after a Bloomingdale’s loss prevention officer saw Roache select four pairs of jeans and carry them into a fitting room, police said. According to police, Roache put on all four pairs of jeans under his existing pants, and left without attempting to pay. The total value of the pants was $745.
Retail theft … Amber Lathem, 23, of the 1800 block of North 72nd Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 4 at 4:51 p.m. in Bloomingdale’s in Willow Grove Park Mall after she selected $640 worth of merchandise, went into a fitting room, put the merchandise in a paper bag and left without attempting to pay, police said.

Reckless endangerment, careless and reckless driving … Helen Chin, 19, of the 500 block of Meadowbrook Drive, Huntingdon Valley, was arrested July 30 at 8:45 p.m. near the 1800 block of Davisville Road following a call for a disturbance, police said. According to police, a group of people yelled, “She just ran him over.”
Following a minor car crash with Chin, the victim stood in front of Chin’s Lexus HS 250 in an attempt to get her to stay until police arrived, police said. The victim said Chin intentionally struck him with her car, causing the victim to hit the hood and fall to the ground. Chin then left the scene. As Chin left the scene, she was involved in another crash.

Criminal mischief … Christopher Griffin, 19, of Griffith Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 26 at 2:19 a.m. after a store owner saw Griffin pick up and smash a bench on Keswick Avenue, police said. According to police, Griffin refused to pay $60 in damages.
Harassment … Jon Grob, 54, of High Avenue, Roslyn, was arrested Aug. 26 at 6:13 p.m. after he brandished a firearm on his porch, police said. According to police, there were numerous firearms found on his porch.

Retail theft … Maiym Taylor, 25, of Pratt Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 31 at 7:20 p.m. after Bloomingdales security saw Taylor take a pair of sneakers worth $60 and attempt to leave the store without paying, police said.
Disorderly conduct … Angelina Marcucci, 18, Fairview Ave., Willow Grove, was arrested Aug. 31 at 10:07 p.m. following a pedestrian stop at Grove Park, police said. According to police, Marcucci was found to have plastic tubes used to smoke marijuana in her purse.
Public drunkenness and disorderly conduct … Marilyn Lanee Epting, 24, of Mount Carmel Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Sept. 1 at 1:33 a.m. after she was singing very loudly in the corner of Easton Road and Keswick Avenue, police said. According to police, Epting was told several times to quiet down and to leave the area, but she refused.
Defiant trespassing … Jermaine Taylor, 37, of Sanger Street; Salim McKenzie, 29, of Ruffner Street; and Markesha Shaw, 19, of Pine Street, all of Philadelphia, were arrested Sept. 1 at noon after Korman Suites management found that all three were using an apartment without permission, police said.
Public drunkenness and disorderly conduct … David Chandler Johnson, 22, of Kingsley Road, Jenkintown, was arrested Sept. 8 at 2:35 a.m. after Johnson entered a flood zone and refused to leave as fire personnel were attempting to rescue people in a stalled vehicle, police said. According to police, Johnson fell several times, and he was pulled out of the water by fire fighters.
Retail theft … Terence Everette Jr., 18, of North Carlisle Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 8 at 7:41 p.m. in Sears in Willow Grove Park Mall after he placed $140 worth of merchandise in a bag and attempted to leave without paying, police said.
