Abington Schools To Dismiss Early Thursday

ABINGTON, PA — Abington School District will dismiss early Thursday due to the inclement weather.

Snow is expected to move into the area in mid-morning, with one to three inches in the forecast. Precipitation will likely turn to rain and sleet by afternoon.

The district said that schools are on the following schedule:

• Senior High: close at 11:30 a.m.
• Junior High: close at noon
• Elementary schools: close at 12:30 p.m.

All after-school athletics and activities have been canceled as well.
