ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA —It's quite the school trip for teachers and students this summer.

They've gone to West Africa to help build a school.

The Abington School District said Abington High School teacher Danielle Lips, alumni Caroline Cook, John Ford, Molly Stevenson, Abby Cassidy, and Sophia Diaz; rising 10th grader Watson Van Ekelenburg; future 11th graders Gregory Frey, Kaycie Applegate, and Abigail Cotter; and upcoming 12th grader Jolene Frey were very busy putting in some extra work this summer.
