Abington Township Road Lane Closing Weekdays Through Late September

PennDOT said a stormwater management project will impact weekday traffic on a busy Abington Road through late September.

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Susquehanna Road in Abington Township will have a lane closure weekdays through late September, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, Susquehanna Road will have a weekday lane closure starting Tuesday.

The affected portion of road is between Westmont Avenue and Easton Road.

Susquehanna Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The work is part of a project to address storm water management on over 90 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays may occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
