Key Cheltenham Roads To Be Closed For 2 Months

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Two key township roads will be closed on Thursday for a PennDOT construction project.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that construction will close Route 73 (Church Road) and Greenwood Avenue under a $10.8 million project to improve traffic flow and safety on both state highways in Montgomery County.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Local access to residences and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur along the detour routes.
