CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Cheltenham Township School District continues to seek community input as it develops its strategic plan for the future.
Assistant Schools Superintendent Kendra V. Johnson sent an email to the school community that it is still seeking input and will keep a survey open until Aug. 7.
Johnson said that feedback will be reviewed and considered as the school district prepares the official strategic plan for public release in early September.
"The Cheltenham School District believes that strong public schools are strengthened through meaningful partnerships with our families, businesses, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, municipalities, faith-based organizations, and community members," Johnson said.
She said that over the past few months, the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, composed of parents and guardians, staff members, and community representatives, has worked collaboratively to develop a draft Strategic Plan.
The district's leadership teams have also reviewed the draft and provided valuable feedback, Johnson said.
"Your insights, experiences, and partnership are essential as we develop a roadmap that will guide the future of our district," Johnson said.
