Warminster Regional Rail Line Changes Under New SEPTA Schedule

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — When SEPTA rolled out its new regional rail schedule that went into effect last Sunday there was some addition and subtraction on one particular line.

The Warminster Line — which starts in Warminster and runs through several eastern Montgomery County communities — lost a few train routes during SEPTA's systemwide changes.

SEPTA rolled out a new regional rail schedule that went into effect last Sunday.

During the week for commuters, SEPTA added a train and subtracted three trains.

These are the following changes to the Warminster Line:

• Train 474 added with a scheduled departure time of 11:35 pm from Suburban Station to Glenside.
• Train 4571, the current 5:21 pm from Warminster, now operates as 457 and provides local service from Warminster up to 5 minutes later.
• AM train 6419 that departed Glenside at 8:40 am no longer operates.
• PM train 4531 that departed Glenside at 2:47 pm no longer operates.
• PM Train 5438 that departed Suburban Station at 4:53 pm no longer operates.

SEPTA asks commuters to refer to the Glenside Combined PDF schedule for alternate options.

The Warminster Line has stops in Hatboro, Willow Grove, Roslyn, Ardsley, Glenside, Jenkintown-Wyncote, and Elkins Park before arriving in Philadelphia.
