CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Cheltenham Township School District is relocating its Extended School Year program starting on Monday due to a safety issue.
The district said the program is moving from Cheltenham Elementary School to Wyncote Elementary School at 333 Rices Mill Road in Wyncote until further notice.
"This decision was made to ensure our students can continue learning in a safe and comfortable environment while we address an unexpected issue with the building's air conditioning system," school officials said.
School officials said that bus schedules will remain unchanged for all students.
In addition, the district will provide afternoon transportation from Wyncote to Myers for students participating in the Right at School program.
School officials will provide further updates once additional information becomes available.
