ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Jefferson Abington Hospital’s Asplundh Cancer Pavilion has received a donation of 80 blankets for patients.

Patients will be warmer and cozier when undergoing treatment due to the generosity of Glanzmann Subaru and Blood Cancer United.

Eighty soft, fleece blankets folded into heart-shaped wraps were donated to provide comfort for patients during their cancer journey.

“We’re grateful to Glanzmann Subaru and Blood Cancer United for their continued support of Jefferson and the Asplundh Cancer Pavilion,” said Steven Cohen, chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Jefferson Abington Hospital. “The blankets serve as a reminder to our patients that they are surrounded by a community that genuinely cares about their well-being."
