Terror Thon Promises Scares, Screams At Hiway Theater

JENKINTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Prepare to be scared.

The Hiway Theater will host its fourth annual Terror Ton this weekend, starting with a classic horror film on Friday night.

The theater on Old York Road is asking horror fans to step into the world of the supernatural for the three-day festival that celebrates all cross-sections of the horror genre.

The horror flicks will feature poltergeists, zombies, and classic monsters, all on the theater's big screen.

The theater offers a Terror Thon 4 weekend pass to view all nine films that will be shown. Festival passes are $80 for general admission and $60 for members. Weekend Passes are limited.

• Poltergeist — Friday, 7 p.m.
• Body Bags — Friday, 9:45 p.m.
• Morning Midnight Society Vol. II — Saturday, 11 a.m.
• The Bride of Frankenstein — Saturday, 1:45 p.m.
• [REC] — Saturday, 3:10 p.m.
• Day of the Dead — Saturday, 7 p.m.
• Frankenhooker — Saturday, 9:45 p.m.
• Haxan — Sunday, 1 p.m.
• The Gate — Sunday, 4 p.m.
